Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows Grand Opens

Filed in: Disney Vacation Club

Against the backdrop of sunset on Seven Sea Lagoon March 31, 2015, Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Vacation Club grand-opened the newest resort in the DVC family – Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. The dedication ceremony featured a Samoan fire-knife dancer, Polynesian drummers and torch-bearers representing the three points of the Polynesian Triangle. The three torches lit a fourth torch in officially opening the newest lodging, part of an overall re-imagination of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
