B-Roll: Disney-themed WestJet Aircraft Marks First-Ever Arrival in Orlando Tuesday

Filed in: Beyond the Theme Parks

A WestJet aircraft specially outfitted in Walt Disney World Resort theming completed its inaugural flight Tuesday from Calgary, Alberta to Orlando. Arrival at Orlando International Airport of the Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 series aircraft (featuring Mickey Mouse in his most famous role, Sorcerer Mickey) marked another milestone in a relationship dating to 2004 between WestJet, WestJet Vacations and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts (Canada). The historic flight marked the first time a Walt Disney World-themed aircraft touched down at OIA. Dubbed in social media as #MagicPlane, the aircraft will fly throughout WestJet’s domestic, trans-border and international network.
