Mickey Mouse Meets Dog with Mickey Spots

Filed in: General Information

The Orlando-area Aguerre family went looking for a new dog a few weeks back and spotted an Labrador-Catahoula mix puppy on Craigslist. Three of the four family members work at Walt Disney World Resort and mother Mejay thought it was a good sign when she saw the adorable puppy had a spot shaped like Mickey Mouse across her back.

Now named Lily, the Aguerres brought the two-and-a-half-month-old puppy for a portrait with a Disney photographer. As a surprise for the pooch, Mickey Mouse himself stopped by, meeting Lily and checking out his likeness in her spots. The Aguerres named their newest family member “Lily” as a tribute to  Walt Disney’s wife. Lillian.
