ORLANDO, Fla., September 7, 2013 — More than 500 people gathered for the Central Florida Brazilian American Chamber of Commerce’s (CFBACC) 1st Brazilian Business Expo in Orlando. Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Minority Business Development co-sponsored the event as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to diversity and growing relationships with diverse professionals and organizations.
The expo is a new addition to the CFBACC’s annual Independence Day Celebration and supports the chamber’s mission to grow the Brazilian-American business community in Central Florida.
“Having Disney’s support for our first Brazilian Business Expo helps us in our efforts to tell the story of the growing Brazilian-American business community in Central Florida,” said Amy Litter, president of the Central Florida Brazilian American Chamber of Commerce.
The event included workshops, demonstrations, exhibits and networking opportunities.
