Disney’s Wish-Granting Program

The Disney® Wish Program is a collaboration between the Walt Disney World® Resort and non-profit wish-granting organizations that make wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions and their families to visit our vacation kingdom. Nearly 7,000 wishes were granted last year at the Walt Disney World Resort, and countless memories are created with each visit.

Due to the large number of requests we receive, we are unable to provide an entire vacation package or offer discounts at Walt Disney World Resort hotels to individuals.  It is preferred that families reach out  directly to one of the nearly 250 wish-granting organizations around the world, whom we support.

Please contact Compassion Partners at 407-396-5320, to find a wish-granting organization in your local community. If a child has previously received complimentary Theme Park tickets through one of these foundations, he/she would be ineligible for consideration for a second “wish”.

Disney’s long history of wish-granting began when Walt Disney opened Disneyland Park in 1955 and hosted children from around the world.  Today, Disney fulfills wishes by partnering with wish-granting organizations throughout the country and around the world, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Disney-themed wishes (which include a visit to Disney Parks, travel on Disney cruises, meet Disney Characters, attend sporting events and visit TV and movie sets) continue to be the most popular requests of children from wish-granting organizations.
