Disney’s Wish Program at Walt Disney World® Resort helps provide the vacation of a lifetime for families and children confronting a life-threatening illness. We can provide up to three days of complimentary Park Hopper tickets for admission to Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, Disney-MGM Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Park. Due to the large number of requests we receive, we are unable to provide an entire vacation package or offer discounts at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. It is preferred that families work directly through one of the many wish-granting organizations around the world.
A letter of request must be mailed or faxed to Community Relations along with a letter from the attending physician stating that the illness or condition is life-threatening. We cannot guarantee our participation until we receive a letter of request and a letter from the physician.
We work closely with over 400 wish-granting foundations. If a child has previously received complimentary Theme Park tickets through one of these foundations, he/she would be ineligible for consideration.
Disney’s long history of wish-granting began when Walt Disney opened Disneyland Park in 1955 and hosted children from around the world. Today, Disney fulfills wishes by partnering with wish granting organizations throughout the country and the world, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Making a trip to a Disney Park is the most frequent wish requested by wish organization children around the world and The Walt Disney Company as a whole, fulfills more than 6,000 wishes annually.
