DOORWAY TO DREAMS — Disney Vacation Club president Jim Lewis (left), Mickey Mouse and Schaumburg Village President Al Larson (right) celebrate “Disney’s Doorway to Dreams” during a special sneak peek ceremony Aug. 2, 2007 in suburban Chicago’s Woodfield Mall. Disney’s Doorway to Dreams is a first-of-its-kind, interactive retail concept showcasing the magic of Disney Vacation Club membership. The store, which officially opens Aug. 4, 2007, features a full-scale model vacation home representing accommodations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas, which recently opened its first phase at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Disney Vacation Club allows families to enjoy flexible, affordable vacations at Disney destinations and more than 500 other vacation hotspots around the world year after year. The launch of Disney’s Doorway to Dreams is the latest milestone for Disney’s successful vacation-ownership business, which has grown to include more than 300,000 individual members from more than 100 countries and all 50 states since 1991.
