Pop singer and American Idol finalist Kimberley Locke (center)
spent her July 4th weekend in central Florida with her mother,
Christine Locke (left). Locke was in the Orlando area to perform at
an Independence Day concert festival and spent Saturday morning
with her mom at the Disney-MGM Studios, one of four Disney World
theme parks. Upon hearing of her visit, the cast at the theme
park’s “Great Movie Ride” arranged for a surprise,
behind-the-scenes tour of the Audio-Animatronics sets and scenes,
including the famous Yellow Brick Road and Munchkinland from The
Wizard of Oz. Locke’s American Idol run was made famous by her
rendition of the classic “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” from the
film. The song is also featured on her new album entitled “One
Love.” Pictured, ride tour guide Meg Fuchs (right) takes the Lockes
